Building a Clayton 2" Scale Steam Wagon

Trunk Guides & Cylinder Covers
First job was to bore the trunk guides, a fairly straight forward job and I used my ancient "Kaliper" gauge to check the bore size. Rather than measuring bore size it is more of a comparator. Once the bore was complete I used Loctite to fasten them to a mandrel to allow other machining operations. Once the turning operations were completed it was transferred to the Tom Senior using the dividing head to machine out the access holes and other features.
The cylinder covers were drilled using the DRO to lay them out. Machining by numbers!
They were then assembled onto the cylinder block.
