The Rover belonged to a good friend of mine from Inverness, Dave Taylor. The pictures show the car bout 35 years ago when we used it for a wedding in York. It's a 1948 Rover 75. Dave bought it some 40 odd years ago from its first owner in Inverness with a cracked block. Dave changed the engine and used the car for many years. He stripped it partly to do some body repairs and sheeted it down outside, unfortunately due to other projects and failing health it never got completed and he passed away in 2017.

Dave his son, rescued it but found it too far gone for him and offered it to me. Because I knew the car and infact we had been in it on our honeymoon, I decided to take it on. Eventually we managed to get it to York and work commences!
