I thought I would have a bit of a rest from welding and see if I could find out where the oil leak on the engine was coming from. I was convinced it was the rear crank oil seal but as I was going to take the engine out to tidy the engine bay that would be an easy fix.
However as can be seen in the photo below once I removed the cam cover it became obvious. Don had forgotten to install a cam cover gasket!
